Overview

Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is famous for its sweet scented and fresh vegetables that spice up on the daily meals of Hoi An people: Cao Lau and Quang noodles. Come here, you will have a chance to discover the art of cultivating and water plants, tasting and doing a cooking class with local dishes prepared by friendly host.

ITINERARY

8:00 -8:30 Pick up from hotel and start biking tour to Tra Que Village

You will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other gardening activities. after all these activities, you will take a short rest and enjoy foot bath before getting to preparing lunch with a local family.

Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll, Banh Xeo or local pancake of people in Vietnam middle region. you can join the cooking with the chef on these meals. After your morning excursions and your lunch, you will take a Vietnamese traditional post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.

Our cooking class provides an immersive experience in Vietnamese traditional cooking and culture. The sounds, sights, smells and tastes found in a typical Viet market are emblematic of daily life here, shaping the contours of Vietnamese cuisine. The cultural stories and tales are unveiled in a quiet fresh garden at a local house. Then it is time to give Hanoi gastronomy a chance to be appeared on your table

PERFUME PAGODA 1 DAY

The Huong Pagoda (English: Perfume Pagoda, Vietnamese: Chùa Hương) is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from acrossVietnam. The centre of the Huong Temple lies in Huong Son Commune, Mỹ Đức District, former Hà Tây Province (now Hanoi). The centre of this complex is the Perfume Temple, also known as Chua Trong (Inner Temple), located in Huong Tich Cave.

ITINERARY

7h45-8.30: Pick up from your hotel depart to Perfume Pagoda about 75km from Hanoi.

10.30: Arrive Yen wharf get on Boat to Perfume Pagoda.

11:15:Trekking up to Huong Son moutain then visiting Huong Tich Cave.( other option you can chose cable Car is not included).

12:30: Have Lunch at the restaurant.

13.30: Visiting Thien Tru Pagoda.

14:00:Get on Boat back to Yen wharf.

15:00: Get on the Bus back to Hanoi
